Our team oversees venue scouting, contract management, and timeline creation, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

On your wedding day, we’re there from setup to teardown—quietly managing logistics, coordinating vendors, and keeping everything running seamlessly—so you can be fully present and savor every moment.

MONTH-OF PLANNING

Ensuring a flawless finale

As your wedding day approaches, the final weeks can quickly become filled with details, deadlines, and last-minute decisions. Our Month-of Planning service is designed to step in at just the right time, bringing calm, clarity, and expert coordination so you can fully enjoy the celebration you’ve worked so hard to create.

Beginning 4–8 weeks before your wedding, we take over vendor communication and confirmations, develop a comprehensive wedding day timeline, and serve as the primary point of contact for your entire vendor team. We’ll guide you through your rehearsal and manage on-site coordination on the wedding day, ensuring everything unfolds seamlessly from start to finish. Setup is included, with teardown available for an additional fee.

With our team handling the logistics and behind-the-scenes details, you’re free to be present, relaxed, and fully immersed in every magical moment.

I’m Lisa Gonzalez, founder of Ember & Elegance and a Detroit-based wedding and event planner specializing in refined, intentional celebrations. From modern city weddings to thoughtfully curated events, I design experiences that feel timeless, personal, and effortlessly elegant.

Driven by a love for detail and artful execution, I ensure every event is seamlessly planned and beautifully brought to life—creating moments that linger long after the celebration ends.

Where the Journey Began

Over 30 Years of Event Planning Experience

My journey as a wedding and event planner began behind the scenes—watching women navigate so much in life and realizing how powerful it is to feel celebrated, supported, and seen. I knew I wanted to create something meaningful: a business rooted in transforming life’s “embers” into experiences of true elegance and excellence.

Event planning is more than a profession to me—it’s a calling. It’s my heart to be the steady hand that guides couples and clients through meaningful moments, helping them feel confident, cared for, and fully present as their vision comes to life.

With every celebration I plan, I fall more in love with what I do. Creating unforgettable moments and witnessing the joy they bring is what fuels my passion—and it’s why I continue to show up with dedication, creativity, and purpose for every event.
